The current Clubhouse was dedicated in 1895, with major additions in 1923, 1957 and 1980.
With a rich history and steeped in tradition, the Clubs current and past members include some of Denvers most notable and accomplished people throughout the years. Famed Denver architect Temple Buell designed the College Room as his first architectural project in 1923.
Women were first admitted to the Club in the 1990s and that demographic, along with a growing under 40 crowd, has brought a great energy to the club.
Current membership is comprised of resident and non-resident members with reciprocity privileges at over 100 private clubs all over the world, including the Cosmos Club in Washington D.C., the Union League Club of Chicago, and The Oxford & Cambridge Club in London.
The University Club of Denver is a popular venue for weddings, receptions, celebrations and business lunches and dinners.
